I have discovered a strange behavior of Pixelmator Pro.
1. Starting the App
2. Select "File -> Open..." in the menu bar
3. The opening Finder window appears.
4. Clicking on "Fertig" (The German word for "Ready" or "Done". I think it should better be "Abbrechen" ("Cancel" in English)) instead of clicking on "Open" closes the opening Finder window.
5. Didn't do anything else in Pixelmator Pro just switching to another application lets Pixelmator Pro disappear. It's no longer visible in the dock or in the app chooser but it is still running. It is visible in the Activity Monitor app and also in the Quit Immediately window. See the picture below.
Pixelmator Pro 1.0.5, macOS 10.13.2

I cannot reproduce the bug with Pixelmator Pro 1.0.6. It seems to be gone.

I'm getting this on Pixelmator Pro 1.0.8. It happens when closing all the image windows and the app is supposed to auto-quit. Manually quitting the app does properly quit, but I have to relaunch it first.
My main problem with this is it keeps the discrete (High Perf) GPU running as well and drains my battery much faster.
2016 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.
Radeon Pro 460 4 GB
Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB
You can see in the screen shot that there is no dot under the Pixelmator Pro icon, to indicate that it's running.
