When you adjust the angle of a photo, it would be radical if there were a checkbox to have Pixelmator Pro auto-fill the corners where the angle exposes the edges of the image.

In the meantime, in the absence of an automated fill feature, how do you fill the blank spaces exposed by rotating an image?

Crop it.

I don't want to seem rude, but have you looked at the sample image? You seriously want to retouch the gaps? You could try ML Crop and not cry a tear over the lost edges.

I forgot to post about this but the Straighten tool in the Crop tool options will now automatically resize images, hiding all transparent edges for you. If, however, you're looking to straighten your image while keeping its original size, just go over the edges with the Repair tool. There's very little pecision needed when repairing, so it shouldn't take more than a minute to fill in all transparent areas.
