It would be great if there was an option to have the text size as a slider and not a drop-down. This is the biggest disruption of my workflow in almost any project I'm working on.

Agreed. Being able to slide to find what size fits would be a huge quality of life boost. I'm tired of guessing font size numbers.

As a perhaps not ideal workaround, you can Option-scroll the text size field to change the size of text.

For what it's worth, I like the FCPX-style draggable text fields next to the slider (similar functionality to @Andrius “workaround” - minus the option key) - which provides 3 ways of adjusting text size:

We're trying to see how we can get the best of all three worlds (steppers + text entry + slider) in one simple interface. It's a bit of a challenge but I think we'll get there.
