What features would you like to see in Pixelmator Pro?

Similar to option in photoshop to copy merge when with multiple layers
Or when select multiple layers can copy them in one shortcut.
Have to copy-paste layer by layer.

This is on the list of requested features. One side note, just to be sure. It is possible to select multiple layers at once (hold shift or command) to copy and then paste and merge them.

Hello Sebastian,
Is it possible to do multiple selection on iOS? If so, what are the steps/buttons/finger movements?
Thanks,

I end up using Photoshop instead of Pixelmator most of the time because of the easy "copy merged," which I use constantly.

Noted! I also replied to your post in the other thread with an extra question.

I think Copy Merged is one of the few features Adobe added to Photoshop in the last ten years that is actually really, really useful. I use it daily, anyway. So I vote for a similar implementation in Pixelmator Pro. :)

Did this feature ever see the light of day? I can't seem to find it... really miss it too (coming from Photoshop)

Not yet, unfortunately... For now, I can offer a workaround of a series of keyboard shortcuts:

Option-Command-A – Select all layers
Option-Commend-E – Merge selected layers
Command-C – Copy
Command-Z – Undo

It's not super convenient, but it's also not quite as inconvenient as it looks...

I think we will add a copy merged feature eventually but I can't quite make any promises about timeframes at the moment.

Just a small +1 from me on this one, I use this all the time in Photoshop.

Another workaround for this is to group all layers before copying – somewhat less destructive than merging them.

I'm gonna add another +1 to this. In Paint.net, it's shift-Control-C, and I use it *all the time*.

Another +1 on this. Just finding my way around Pixelmator (Photoshop convert). This is an essential feature for me.

Copy Merged is already available in Pixelmator Pro! You can press Option + Shift + Command + C on your keyboard to copy.

Thanks for your answer @aurelija
I have tried it and it works but it doesn't appear in the Edit menu.
Would it be possible to add it ? having such a complicated shortcut without a menu item is tricky :)

Thanks

Yep, this option is hidden by default, but you can press Option + Shift on your keyboard to reveal it in the menu. Or you can also type "Copy" or "Copy Merged" in the search field you see in the Help menu and select it from there.

That was the option I missed the most (copy merge) coming from Affinity. So you made me happy, really happy, so happy that I thought I let you know!
