I'm making a game and it would be very convenient to keep track of my colors and palettes in the game using the same naming scheme as Pixelmator shows in the color picker. Names like "Black Marlin", "Milano red", "Pirate gold" and so forth.

These doesn't seem to be standard web colors? What naming scheme is used and where can I find a complete list of all names + RGB / HSV?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but the Paint By Number Creator author told me he uses RAL color names and referenced https://encycolorpedia.com/ or https://encycolorpedia.com/named

I too would like to know from the Pixelmator Team which color library the application is referencing.

For example, the Pixelmator nearest color name Bleached Cedar #3D2540 does not register on the encycolorpedia collection quoted but is included as official to color-register.org

Is this from the International Color Consortium?

Unfortunately after a quick reference, the library of your link does not match the color names provided by Pixelmator Pro.

Thanks for your inquiry! The color naming scheme you're referring to in Pixelmator's color picker is based on RAL color names. You can find a comprehensive list of these names along with their corresponding RGB/HSV values on https://encycolorpedia.com/ rice purity or specifically https://encycolorpedia.com/named. Happy game development!
