I am not that impressed with the ML SR result. It looks more like it got turned into vectors ...

Compare with Topaz that still looks like a pixel image !

Hi cekuhnen. Thanks for the feedback. Would you be able to share the original image? It'd be interesting for us to test it out. You can either do it here or share it with us at support@pixelmator.com. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! The processed images are fine, we'd just need the original RAW to be able to use it in our ML training dataset. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, perhaps you could compress it and upload it here and send us the link that gets generated?

I am not sure if I would agree here.
There are big differences.

Sorry, I meant the images themselves you uploaded are perfect examples of what ML Super Resolution is doing. :) I just wanted to take a look at the original RAW (as in "RAW" file format) image you used for upscaling. Now I see from your recording that it wasn't actually RAW but a JPEG file, so we're good now! Yes, I can see some posterization happening after ML Super Resolution is applied as well. I'll forward your feedback to the team!

So the ML resolution works better on raw photos vs jpegs?

In theory, it shouldn't — it should handle RAW and JPEG images the same. I guess I made it sound like it should?
