When applying a preset and THEN applying ML Enhance, does it work in this sequence?
What I mean is that is the enhancement applied to the preset or does ML override the preset (if this makes sense).

ML Enhance does override the preset to an extent — it makes changes to the White Balance, Lightness, Hue & Saturation, Color Balance, and Selective Color adjustments. So if the presets used those adjustments, the original values would be changed. However, it doesn't make any changes to the non-ML adjustments and those are preserved. In Pixelmator Photo, we added the ability to lock certain adjustments and it's possible we'll also bring this to Pixelmator Pro in an upcoming update.
