I’ve never pulled the trigger on the macOS version but I’m thinking of taking advantage of the deal. How does it handle 61mp raw files ? If I purchase it now, do I need to be concerned about a v3 coming around without any future update support forcing me to make another purchase anytime soon?

Thanks and good job as always

Depends on your computer specs. In terms of optimization through, Pixelmator is far more efficient than probably any other photo editor. I’ve been able to open massive files without a hiccup on M1. Way more massive than 64mp. It’ll work great.

I can confirm that Pixelmator has been able to handle ridiculously large files 10 years ago already on hardware that’s nothing like what we have today.

I wonder what ML Crop is based on? What is the principle of cropping?

It should handle them without any trouble at all. But you can always make sure by taking the free trial for a test drive.

We also aren't planning any paid upgrades in the near or medium-term future, so you should be good on that front, too.

We've gathered a dataset of uncropped and "correctly/attractively" cropped photo pairs and have trained the algorithm based on that. Of course, the actual implementation and training are a little more complex than that, but that's the basis.

Hello community, my question is how do you add length to square off
flooring space and if part of the floor is cut off?

Thanks

It is – in fact, we had a working prototype a while ago, but there were issues with integrating it, so we've put it aside for now.

Most likely not – 2.1 is probably going to be the next update released.

Not sure what you mean by this – could you post your question on the Pixelmator Pro forum with some visual examples of what you have and what you'd like to achieve?

WooHoo! Cropping is a skill of mine (totally joking, you're lucky to find a photo of mine with something other than 4:3!) so this might add some creative frames to some of my photos! Looking forward to it!

In regard to increased RAM in M1 iPads, does ML Crop model uses more RAM than ML Super Resolution model? How quickly the model performs?

It seems Pixelmator support doesn't care much about questions asked here

You're being a little impatient, given 31 May was a public holiday in some countries (UK and USA being just two of them).

ML Super Resolution, for most images, requires much more memory than ML Crop. ML Crop is generally very quick, near-instant really.

We do, but sometimes we miss things.

It sadly wasn't over here in Lithuania. Honestly, sometimes things just slip under the radar and this was one such instance.

Will Pixelmator Pro support the `.photo` format from Pixelmator Photo? I really like Pixelmator Photo, and I'd like a seamless way of editing raw photos across devices.

We'd love to make editing seamless across all Pixelmator apps. PXD document support in Pixelmator for iOS will most likely come the soonest and we'll see where we go from there.
