Love this new addition. A couple of more years and I can finally kick Adobe to the rear. Keep it up guys, I really excited for the future of the product.

Yes, fine, but please put the effects additionally back into the menu!
Just spend a couple of minutes before I found the “Brightness/Contrast” effect (?)…

I still look forward to the effects being back in the menus in addition to the new effects browser. The new way can be helpful for brainstorming, but it is not practical for daily use. I’m still hanging out on 2.0.5 so I can keep my effects where they belong.

The new addition looks nice. However, as more people have stated, please put the effects back into the application menu. That way we can search for them using the help menu and associate keyboard shortcuts to them.

Really nice update! One thing I have ran into though is that the program freezes for a minute or so when I’m stitching huge 32000 x 5841 panoramas. I’m not sure weather the program can handle that much detail or it’s just a bug. I ran activity monitor while working and pixelmator takes up 3GB of RAM and one full core on my 4 core system which I expect from working with a huge project like this.

    Here are my specs:

    15″ Macbook Pro
    Intel i7 2.2GHz quad core
    16GB or RAM
750GB Seagate Hybrid SDD/HDD Hard Drive
    1GB AMD Radeon HD 6750M

    Great program love it!
