The magnifying Eyedropper Tool helps you precisely yet easily sample colors from your images.
Thanks. Despite the other comments, this was helpful to me–as I am new to all of this.
Very good tutorials, love it
I’m just watching and practicing as I go along
Having difficulty switching to the paint tool once I have color selected. Please provide clearer steps. Thanks.
@Pamela, once you’ve selected the color, simply click to select the Brush Tool in the Tools palette.
Have problems to understand eyedropper tool.
Which key I have to hold on the keyboard to paint??
@ Hier, to start painting switch to the Brush Tool (B).
How can I find the Eye Dropper Tool on the iPhone version of Pixelmator™?
Tim, you can use the Eye Dropper Tool when painting with one of the brushes by touching and holding a color in your image. Or you can also use it from the Color Picker, and there’s more information about this in the relevant section of our Pixelmator for iOS User Guide right here:
Is this option has on free trial too ?? I am trying to find but I can’t…
Appreciate if someone could help with this
It does indeed, but it was moved to the bottom right corner of the Tools palette in one of the later versions of Pixelmator. If it’s not there, you can also add it by going to Pixelmator > Preferences > Tools and then dragging the Eyedropper to your Tools palette.
