problems after July update

Since the 02.July update, i am experiencing random problems:

1. Pixelmator shuts down without cause. When i reopen it comes up with what was on the screen before it crashed.
2. Cannot save and or cannot export.
3. Tools get lost.
4. Takes an automatic screenshot of the full screen before crashing

This is random behavior ie sometimes the Save works sometimes tools do not get lost etc etc

So sorry to see you are having trouble with Pixelmator Pro. It is difficult to tell what could be causing this but could you try to temporarily create a new account on your Mac to see if Pixelmator Pro behaves normally when being run on that new account?

Sebastiaan, thank you for your prompt reply.

I signed in as a guest user and played with Pixelmator for a bit of time.

Export, Save, Edit, manipulate, Save etc etc. all went well.
No crash, no screenshots etc.

What do you suggest I do to have that behavior in my normal user account?

If you haven't done so yet, could you please email us about this at support@pixelmator.com? As far as I can tell, you're having trouble with the original Pixelmator and we have a fix for the problems you're seeing.

By the way, that update is now out on the Mac App Store, so feel free to switch back to the App Store version of the app.
