When saving a set of parameters as an export preset, you click the '+' button and then nothing happens. What you need to do is navigate away using a different tool, then navigate back to the export for web dialog to see your new preset appear. Its an odd behaviour that doesn't seem like its supposed to work that way.

Also the export for web presets do not appear like they do in the promotional tutorials:

Hey there, in a previous update, we moved the presets from the presets bar as we plan to eventually remove it for all tools — it takes away a little too much space from the canvas so we want to move everything to the Tool Options bar. The screenshots on our website are all up to date but it's a little more tricky to refilm all the videos.

However, when you click the + button the preset should immediately be added and the name should become active so you can rename it. Here's a screenshot of what that looks like:

Is this not what you see?

I can confirm this definitely does not happen. clicking plus does not cause a new preset to be added - it appears like nothing happens. Then you navigate away with a different tool, then come back to the export for web dialog, and THEN the new untitled preset appears.

In that case, could you double-check your version of Pixelmator Pro and macOS? You can find out the version in Pixelmator Pro > About Pixelmator Pro and your Mac specs by clicking the Apple menu () > About This Mac. A screenshot of both those windows would be very useful!

Pixelmator - 1.5.5

OS X - 10.15.3 (19D76)

This is still happening. Video of issue: https://cl.ly/50dda1bdec02

Thanks for that, reproduced! I was inadvertently checking this in our internal 1.5.6 beta, in which this appears to be fixed. So the good news is — it will be fixed.
