Running on Mojave 10.14.2 on iMac, 40G RAM. Pixelmator Pro 1.2.4. Photos and Safari are the only other apps running.
Select jpg from Photos and select Edit with Pixelmator Pro.

If I do a couple changes, the Revert closes the file properly.
If I do numerous edits (while learning Pixelmator capabilities, Color Adjustments), I select the Red close dot with the black dot (noting that changes were made) within to close out the session with the jpg. Pixelmator displays the dialog box to Revert Changes, Cancel or Save. When selecting Revert Changes, the beach ball appears and spins for several minutes. I eventually Force Quit.

iMac has been Restarted and Powered off and error continues to occur.

This seems not to occur when opening a file directly from a folder, edit it and then close out the editing session by selecting the Delete PXD file option.

I found the same problem. Further, when you try to save, it fails. Something is terribly wrong wth the closing dialog when called from Photos.app!

Hey guys, if you haven't done so already, could you email us about this at support@pixelmator.com?

Thanks in advance!

Before Christmas II received a "beta" version and tested the resolution to this issue. I did not received a release date of an update that would include the fix.

We're working on that release just now — it shouldn't be too long before it's available, but I don't have an exact date for you just yet, I'm afraid.

I understand, my career was in software development. I appreciate Support's responsiveness and communications concerning this bug. I'm good for now with the beta solution you provided me.

Thanks

Awesome, we're in the final stages of beta testing, so it really should be a week or two at the most.
