I would like to draw some attentions to the camera raw abilities PS has. Which I have grown accustomed to using, where you can develop with added grain which is very different from noise.
PP has a really nice grain tool, but it's missing the "size" slider.
It's one of my favourite features to use when creating artwork and binding together different layers with different pixel densities.
It's also an important feature when emulating a lot of vintage photo effects. giving you that VSCO look.

Sorry, I think I had a mental prolapse when I wrote this XD.
It doesn't seem to soften the edges, as much as I would like... but I will test it out with with Option Key, and explore different finishes.
The option key definitely helps knowing you can extend the ranges, I assume this is true for other tools too.
I'll post some finished artwork when I'm not as swamped with work right now.
