I can't find any documentation anywhere about where PP creates and saves it's temp or cache files on a Mac. Can anyone elaborate?

Would be great to have in the preferences option to manage that and to switch off features you don’t need, it you are not using them. Like a cleaning 🧹 section.
My question would be if that could increase speed or reduce conflicts with other features?
