It happens with every file of similar size I edit.
Fortunately, as you can see in the video, I can save the file before the crash.

Reproduced! This looks to happen when using the Crop tool's Delete mode in any image with a mask that adds transparency at the edges of the image (even if it's just one layer). So we'd better take care of it ASAP! And the hang (hang = app stops responding, crash = app quits unexpectedly on its own) happens only when a subsequent action is performed.

Sorry, I didn't know the difference with hang and crash, you're right it's a hang.
As I said, I can save the file (using command-s) after cropping, before the hang, so it's not exact that happens only when a subsequent action is performed.

People often confuse the two, so I just wanted to add a clarification. And yes, you're right, I should've said "almost any subsequent action". I was also able to add some effects before Pixelmator Pro stopped responding... Anyway, we'll do our best to squeeze this fix into the upcoming update.
