Is there a way to save a RAW Photo (CR2, Canon) in Apple Photos after editing in Pixelmator Pro, so it's still a RAW photo. If I transfer from Pixelmator Pro submenu to Photos, the image becomes a PNG file.
If I use export there are only JPEG and TIFF as well as other file types.

Sincerely, Tom

The RAW file format is read-only so it isn't possible to save edits in it. It also isn't technically an image and it has to be developed by any app that opens it, meaning depending on the processing engine, it will look subtly different in different apps.

However, if you store your RAW images in Photos and edit them from there, the original, unedited RAW file will always be preserved, so my advice would be to first import your RAW files into Photos, then either edit the images with the Pixelmator Pro editing extension or open them in Pixelmator Pro using the Photo Browser (File > New from Photos). Unfortunately, Photos doesn't share the original RAW image when using the Edit With feature to share images from the app, so that particular workflow wouldn't work here.
