Pixelmator 2.0.5 Now Available

Good things come in small packages, and to prove it, this week the Pixelmator Team brings you Pixelmator 2.0.5, our newest update. It’s a petite-yet-powerful set of enhancements designed to make your Pixelmator experience just a bit more awesome.

Here’s what’s new: I’m happy that with this update, Pixelmator is finally able to offer vastly improved support for Intel graphics cards. And because we’re always looking for ways to make a good thing better, 2.0.5 packs in a helping of other small but still mighty useful fixes. I hope you like this update.

Ability to turn off default document opening in PXM format via Terminal is great, but what it’s not under Preferences??? Simple check box will do!

Since the retina MBP wasn’t announced when this version was released, how can it be retina compatible?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I echo the previous commenter by saying it should be in the app preferences GUI, but the ability to edit non-pxm files without a multi-step saving process is very very welcome.

2.0.4 breaking my workflow and killing Autosave was just about the only negative comment I could make about Pixelmator. I love your work, keep it up.
